Books and Movies

These are books and movies that are primarily about jigsaw puzzles.

Books

• The Jigsaw Puzzle: Piecing Together a History by Anne D. Williams

• The Puzzler by AJ Jacobs. It has a chapter on jigsaws that includes a nice shoutout for the USAJPA

• The Pattern in the Carpet by Margaret Drabble. A British memoir, a love-letter to writing and puzzling, sprinkled with British jigsaw history.

• Master Pieces by Chris McCann. A coffee-table book but it has that includes content accessibility to fine art through puzzling.

• The Jigsaw Book by Linda Hannas

• The Missing Piece by Antoine Bello. A murder mystery set in the speed puzzling world.

• Mila the Maker and the 200-Piece Jigsaw Puzzle by Rachel Loftspring. A children’s picture book about Mila the Maker.

Movies

• Rompecabezas – Spanish movie about a jigsaw puzzler

• Puzzle – American remake of Rompecabezas

• Wicker Kittens – Documentary about jigsaw puzzle competition
